To lead with an open heart

Gained armor

Or allowed your sensitive self to Feel

Whatever habit you picked up

Is still with you today

You may be aware of it

Or it may just be running

Your emotional show

Without you even knowing

No matter what sort of adult your are now

Your childhood shaped you

Moulded you emotionally

And made you choose

Between your emotions or your mind

To keep distance

Or to be open

To see the world as a safe place

Or to be cautious and hyper vigilant

To trust what comes next

Or to plan everything out so there are no surprises

There is no wrong or wright path

No correct or incorrect childhood

Only deep wisdom and healing

Swimming within your emotional body

Just waiting for you to sit down

And have a chat with it.”
